Billing and your account

Pricing is simple. You pay a one-time fee to rebuild your site. Then you pay a yearly plan that covers hosting, security, and changes.
The rebuild fee
The rebuild fee depends on how many pages your site has. You see the exact amount in your report. It is one price, not an hourly rate.
You pay it when you approve your preview. You do not pay anything before then. The preview is free.
Yearly plans

All plans include hosting and keeping your site secure. Details on changes are in Texting or emailing us changes.
Self-Edit means you make your own changes through an editing tool. We set up your access by hand.
When you are charged
- When you approve your preview, you pay the rebuild fee. We save your payment method.
- Your yearly plan starts the day your site goes live, not before. We charge the saved payment method then.
- Each year, your plan renews on that date. We email you before it renews.
If a charge does not go through, we email you a secure link to pay.
Your account
Sign in at useguardhouse.com/account. We email you a sign-in link. You do not need a password.
In your account you can see:
- your site, its status, and its address
- your plan and renewal date
- how many changes you have used this month
- your recent change requests
- your approved texting numbers (owners only)
- the Team list, to add or remove people who can sign in (owners only)
Updating your payment method
Go to Billing in your account. Select Manage payment methods & invoices. A secure page from our payment provider, Stripe, opens. There you can change your card and download invoices.
We never see or store your full card number.
Nonprofit discount
We are working out a discount for nonprofits. Ask us at hello@useguardhouse.com and we will tell you where it stands.
Changing or canceling your plan
Email hello@useguardhouse.com. If you decide to leave, you take your site with you. See Owning your site.
